There is nothing like a fresh stack of fabric to get the sewing juices flowing! A couple of weekends ago I had a brief, but lovely visit with a good friend of mine. We visited our favourite fabric shop in Guelph, called the Greenwood Quiltery. They carry a beautiful selection of fabric and yarn. While there, I bought some fat quarters of the Far Far Away Heather Ross fabric line that I have been eyeing for years. The quilt design is the Yellow Brick Road pattern. It is a quick and easy pattern that I have sewn a couple of times before. I did not buy enough fabric, so I had to dig into my fabric stash, and also make a mid sewing emergency trip to our local quilting store for more! When the quilt is done it will be for our sweet 6 year old Abby.
