The Kids Clothing Week that wasn’t

This is the post that is supposed to show all of the clever clothes that I produced during the Kids Clothing Week Challenge. Last year I managed to produce a number of cute items for the kids. This year I knitted a pair of slippers for our youngest, cut out the pieces for the boiled wool jacket and started knitting a mitten. Oh well, there is always next year!

On an up note, after much searching, we have finally found a home and will start moving in this week. I’m very excited to unpack, and set up a new sewing studio. More sewing for my store, and a store opening is to come!

The piles of fabric and patterns are all ready to go for the Kids Clothing Week Challenge. On my hope-to-make list: Overalls and pants, a hooded coat, a blouse or dress, and a start on some flannel nighties for winter. I’m sure that I will not finish all of the projects, but it feels good to be a little more intentional about my sewing. Visit my inspiration board on Pinterest to see some of my ideas!
